Housing Information - This is a yoked position between Kinsman Presbyterian Church and Andover United Church of Christ. Both congregations have a manse and the presumed value of living in one of those manses is $12,600 of the salary.

Job Description -

We seek a pastor who will help us expand our vision for ministry and mission. This includes many forms of outreach, mission within and beyond our walls, technology required to share worship, and changing community demographics. We realize that this may include different and new ideas that requires change. Our church would respond well to a pastor who wanted to be actively involved in the life of our church and community.

We seek a pastor who wants to be here! We have a beautiful, white clapboard church in an idyllic setting in a town with no stoplights. We seek someone who is comfortable in that environment and will love us and fill our hearts with hope. Covid has been an especially difficult for our community. It would be wonderful if our next pastor had a passion for teaching and a zest for life.

We hope for a leader creative who is creative in worship while maintaining traditional elements of service, and someone who is affable and sympathetic to those facing physical or emotional/spiritual difficulties. As with most aging populations, we struggle with technology and would very much welcome someone with tech skills that could help us in today’s ever-changing world.

It is important that our next pastor provides strong leadership in worship, teaching and pastoral care. We hope our new pastor will exemplify a collaborative leadership style and a keen desire to move into the future with hope, energy and enthusiasm. Our congregation would respond well to a pastor sharing our desire for new and fresh ideas.
