The Presbytery of Northern New York extends from Adirondack Mountain Range on the east to Lake Ontario and the Saint Lawrence River on the west . Recreational enthusiasts can enjoy 4 seasons of fun from downhill skiing to bass fishing in the St Lawrence river or enjoying a quiet day on the water on our many rivers and lakes. There is also hiking, mountain climbing and camping in the Adirondacks as well as many fairs and festivals celebrating the uniqueness and history of the area. Our dairy industry and agriculture as well as tourism make up a large part of the economy, supporting our many small towns and villages. Ft. Drum, home of the 10th Mountain Division, is the north country's largest employer. Our 23 churches occupy communities ranging from rural hamlets to small cities.
