The specific vision for Linway United Presbyterian Church focuses on joyfully worshiping God and serving with a commitment to the mission of Jesus Christ. This vision seeks to foster spiritual growth, community support and outreach, ensuring that our ministries meet the needs of both congregants and local residents. By emphasizing service and engagement, this vision will positively impact the community by providing essential resources, social support, and youth development opportunities. Our programs aim to create a welcoming environment where all feel valued and empowered to participate and contribute. Linway is dedicated to its ministry vision and actively participates in various outreach initiatives, such as food assistance, education programs, and youth mentorship. This call will enhance the responsibilities of current staff and volunteers, aligning with our ministry goals. Our prospective pastor will bring new energy and ideas, addressing our desire for change while being mindful of established traditions. We aim to attract more young families by implementing engaging programs that resonate with them. This role will focus on continuing to develop Christian education opportunities for all ages, ensuring a robust curriculum that fosters spiritual growth. The pastor will also lead outreach initiatives to connect with new individuals and families, building community bridges. As an integral part of our staff, which is comprised of an office manager, financial secretary, and music director, the pastor will guide church committees toward spirituality and Christ-centered work, drawing on varied experiences and theological studies. By focusing on relationship-building, this position will complement existing efforts, encouraging ongoing collaboration among staff, volunteers, and congregants. Together, we will continue to build a vibrant church environment that enriches the life of our church family.
