Among the regular pastoral duties Interim/Transitional leader must have:
- Emotional Maturity/Adaptive Leadership: Ability to stay calm and objective ("non-anxious presence") during high-stress situations.
- Strong Communicator/Listener: Skilled in facilitating difficult conversations.
- Objectivity: Capable of diagnosing systemic issues without becoming entangled in legacy conflicts.
