Job Description -
St, John’s is a 160 year old beautiful historical building anchoring the neighborhood, with spectacular stained-glass windows. Our church enjoys generational family membership as well as working to attract new members to diversify our church family. Also, we are very proud of our community outreach, such as our food pantry, and building access for support groups like AA, and NA. We are blessed with many wonderful cooks who make pasties, as well as public meals. St. John’s UCC of Port Huron seeks to expand its ecumenical use in our community and grow its membership. We envision a building that gets used to its maximum potential by its members, friends and neighbors, including education capabilities, Sunday School rooms, Chapel, nursery, commercial kitchen, and gymnasium. We seek a pastor with a strong commitment to developing a Christian Education program that fits our thirst for Bible knowledge and reaches out to our neighbors in the community.
